A pair of antique Elm wood official hat chairs from Shandong, China, approx. 100 years old. The Chinese word at the top of the back splat is 福 (fú), which means good fortune, and the carving below that is a deer, which means prosperity. The signs of wear on the chairs are consistent with its age and we feel adds a lot to its charm and character, we had kept them as it is and finished with a semi-matte clear lacquer.
