Beijing Coffer Sideboard

An antique coffer sideboard from Beijing. Its original colour was still in fairly good condition, hence this has been retained and finished with a semi-matte clear lacquer. The aprons on both sides has simple relief carvings of gourds & vines. The solid brass handles have been replaced, but the original ones would have been very similar in design.
