Old Washbasin Cabinet from Fujian

An old red & gold carved washbasin cabinet from Fujian province, approx. 80 years old. Right at the top is a carving of a phoenix, and throughout the cabinet you can find carvings of different flowers, vases and animals, which makes it very interesting. There is a repair done on the front left corner of the cabinet, but otherwise, the colour on this piece is original and finished with a clear semi-matte lacquer. The mirror in the middle has been replaced with a new one. This is made of Pine wood, and all the carved portions are made of Camphor wood.
