An antique wedding cabinet from Zhejiang province, made of Elm & Pine and approx. 100 years old. This wedding cabinet has beautiful original red colour, and the brass hardware is old too which is quite uncommon. The sides of the cabinet are reddish brown and you can see the pine wood grains, not exactly the same colour as the front of the cabinet which is red lacquer. The round brass plate in front symbolizes a complete & harmonious union. On the inside, the bottommost shelf can be lifted up to reveal a secret compartment below.
