Antique Shanxi Black Painted Low Sideboard

A charming antique low sideboard from Shanxi with original black lacquer and paintings. Each drawer and door panel carries its own delicate vignette of flowers, fruits and foliage, painted in soft, muted tones with just a dash of red on the fruits and flowers. The lacquer has worn and peeled beautifully over time, and all of this has been left entirely as found.
