A 3-tier rattan woven food basket from Fujian, China. 100% original condition with no repairs at all.
The older baskets have very fine woven work which is evident here. It has a bamboo main handle and a very cute woven knot on the top. Parts of the thick red lacquer that was applied on the edges have cracked and partially fallen off, but this is consistent with its age & wear.
