Vintage Book Chest

This book chest originates from Fujian and is approximately 80 to 100 years old. It features beautiful edging along the door frames, and it has side handles that were traditionally used for carrying and stacking the chest. The interior is fitted with a single shelf and two small drawers, very handy.

The chest retains its original colour, which has been preserved and finished with a clear semi-matte lacquer. It is fitted with its original brass door pulls, which feature a cloud design (Ruyi) symbolising good fortune and the wish for all your hopes to come true.
