These are converted from old ceramic ventilation tiles from Fujian, China, and they are very similar to the ventilation tiles that were used in Singapore! You can still spot these tiles in old buildings in Tiong Bahru, Chinatown and Joo Chiat.
Because these were removed from old buildings, the sides of the tiles are unfinished and a little rough but we have “cleaned” out the cement as much as we can. There are some imperfections along the edges due to its age and wear, and the design & colour for every piece is slightly different.
Size of tile = 33 x 33 x thickness 4cm. Size of wooden scroll base = L35 x W12.5cm. Size of lampshade = L46 x W36cm. Overall height of table lamp = 68cm.
Comes with white rectangular lampshade.
Note: There will be slight differences in the colour tone, details and signs of wear on every piece.
