Antique Chaozhou (Teochew) Carved Long Bench

An antique low carved long bench from Chaozhou, approx. 100 years old. The bench is decorated by carvings of birds and flowers throughout the front, and the legs have very expressive of birds perched on branches. The rattan on top had been replaced and reinforced with a wooden plank below, the original colour had been retained and finished with a clear semi-matte lacquer.
