Vintage Ceramic Fish Gutter Spout

These hollow ceramic fish were used as drain spouts at the end of gutters in old Chinese houses. There is an opening on the back that allows water to flow out the mouth of the fish!

There are some signs of wear & tear, like chips off the paint especially around the mouth, which is consistent with its age and what it was used for. As these are old pieces, every piece will be slightly different.
