This vintage sideboard is from Shanxi province and is approx. 80-100 years old, it had been repainted to a beautiful distressed aqua colour in a semi-matte finish. The edges have been rubbed down to reveal the wood colour underneath and it contrasts very nicely with the aqua, this was the original colour of the sideboard but was repainted because it was very patchy. The brass hardware and the internal shelves have been replaced, the internal shelves are removable but not adjustable.
