Old Chinese Low Kang Table

A low table from Dongbei region, China, approx. 60-80 years old. The table top is made of two pieces of 2.8cm thick solid Pinewood. These would have been used as a table on their Kang beds, hence the name Kang table. It can be used as a coffee table now, or even placed on top of another cabinet or console as a display stand.
