A charming red bench from Fujian province, with beautiful original red colour and nice rounded edges, approx. 70-80 years old. A unique trait of a number of Fujian pieces is that the table/bench top is made of a single plank of wood, and for this bench, the seat top is a single 3.2cm thick plank, most likely Fir wood. It has a beautiful original red colour which is great if you want to add a pop of colour to the room without being over the top. You can use this as a bench, as a side table, as a narrow coffee table, or it can also go in front of the bed. A very unique piece!
L82 x W30 x H47.5cm, the legs are slightly splayed and the widest length at the bottom is 83cm.
Internal space of drawers is L30 x D21.5 x H7cm.
