Antique Elmwood Wine Table

An antique Elmwood wine table from Shandong, China, approx. 100 years old. This piece has very nice original colour and patina, so we could leave it as it is and finish it with just a semi-matte clear lacquer. The aprons have carvings in the cloud motifs, which symbolise good luck & immortality.

This type of table is often called wine tables but they were not strictly for that, they were usually placed in the living room against one wall with one chair on each side. So it is a place where you can serve drinks and host your guests.
