A vintage painted sideboard from the Dongbei (northeast) region, China, with a beautiful orangey red colour in front and original painting in gold. The painting in front are mainly of flowers & fruits, and at the bottom in the middle is a painting of a fan, and inside is the Chinese character which means double happiness.
Note that the top and sides are dark brown colour. The colours on this piece are all original, and it is finished with a glossy clear lacquer.
