Old Fujian Red Bench

An old red bench from Fujian province, China, approx. 80-100 years old. The bench is made of Fir wood, which is a very light wood commonly used for furniture in that area. The aprons have simple & pleasant carvings, with some gold accents. This bench has such a beautiful original colour and we have left it as it is, the only repair work done was to strengthened the joints so the bench is not shaky.
