An antique Elmwood “kungfu” bench from Shanxi, China. The wooden joints of the bench were slightly damaged and there’s some warping in the wood, hence the bench appears a little lopsided, this can be seen in the photo that is a straight shot of the bench from the shorter side. The structure however is still sturdy and strong enough for sitting.
L115 x bottom width 31 x H53cm, seat width 21.5cm, thickness of seat top plank is 4cm.
