This teakwood book chest originated from Fujian and is approx. 80-100 years old. Though teak isn’t native to China, it was imported from Southeast Asia for furniture production during the Qing dynasty. The chest has practical side handles for carrying and stacking. We’ve preserved its original colour, just lightly sanding the surface for a smooth finish.
