Square Jumu Side Table with Drawers

A square side table that is approx. 80-100 years old from Shanghai, this table has very beautiful Jumu wood grains on every side. The inside of the drawers have black gauze taped to some edges, this was done as a repair so that there will not be any gaps should the wood panels shrink. The large drawer has a brass handle in the shape of a butterfly, this is original and used to be lockable but the lock is already damaged. The brass ring handles on the other 2 small drawers are replacements. At the base of this table is a “cracked ice” lattice panel, and this panel is removable.
