An old Elmwood cabinet from Shandong, approx. 80-100 years old. This has beautiful original colour and it had been refinished in a semi-gloss clear lacquer. On the main doors are relief carvings of the Buddhist swastika. On both sides are carvings of (left) plum blossom, magnolia, (right) chrysanthemum & bamboo, representing the four seasons: spring, summer, autumn & winter respectively.
