An old Elmwood red cabinet from Shandong, approx. 80-100 years old. The carvings on this cabinet are floral themed, and on the main doors are relief carvings of the Buddhist swastika. On the left hand side are carvings of (from top to bottom): cherry blossom (spring), bamboo (winter) & lotus (summer). On the right hand side are: pine tree (winter & longevity), chrysanthemum (autumn) & magnolia (spring).
