Bedside Cabinet from Fujian

A bedside cabinet from Fujian province, approx. 60-80 years old. This cabinet was made of Pine wood with the carved parts made of Camphor wood. The cabinet top was originally made of a single plank of Ficus wood measuring W48 x D42cm, but as the back part of that was damaged, a slim piece of 1.5cm wide Pine wood was used to repair this part. The colour was originally red & gold, but it was already very patchy and therefore we had this stripped to its original wood colour.
