Antique Wenzhou Cabinet

An antique cabinet from Wenzhou city, Zhejiang province, made of Elm & Pine. This is a very distinct style of Wenzhou cabinets, with two slim doors on top which open into a narrow compartment. The doors on top were finished in gold gilt and carved with human characters, two of the glass panels are missing here but we can get those replaced.

The bottom cabinet doors have simple & elegant carvings of birds, flowers & the Buddha’s citron fruit. This cabinet is in its original colour and finished with a semi-matte clear lacquer, the decorative brass handles on the doors are original too.
