Antique Jiangsu Bedside Cabinet

An old bedside cabinet from Jiangsu, a province north of Shanghai, approx. 80-100 years old. Made mainly of Elm & Pine woods, this cabinet has been repainted to a glossy distressed dark navy blue colour. During the distressing process, some of the new paint has been rubbed off, revealing the original reddish brown colour underneath. The internal shelf had been replaced as the old one was broken, this shelf is removable but not adjustable.
